Verizon DSL

Just went to war with a Verizon DSL (Westell) Router. Two half hour calls to tech support, four hours of my girlfriend's time, and it finally works.

As it turns out, if your modem is already active and you just need to connect a new modem to the line, putting in the URL and clicking the single button on that page turns off the automatic redirect to the "activate your DSL!" feature.

If the phone support had been in a first world nation, that would have been a lot quicker. I'm thinking Verizon just lost my intended FiOS purchase next month.
